Throughout her career, Jen has served as Chief Financial Officer and Compliance Officer for multiple Federally Qualified Health Centers, where she developed expertise in billing, finance, compliance, and organizational leadership.
At BCA, Jen focuses on management training and revenue cycle optimization, leveraging her CFO experience to strengthen financial performance for healthcare organizations. She provides strategic and analytical support to boards of directors, executives, and management teams, helping them improve cash flow while navigating today’s compliance and audit requirements.
Jen’s background also includes leadership roles in corporate finance at a Fortune 500 company, giving her unique insight into data management, system implementation, compliance, and team development. She is known for her ability to translate financial and operational challenges into actionable solutions that drive organizational success. Jen has also contributed her leadership skills through service on nonprofit boards.
Meri Harrington, Managing Partner, CPC, CRC, CEMC
Meri Harrington brings two decades of healthcare experience with a strong foundation in coding, auditing, and education. She has become a trusted subject matter expert across a wide range of specialties.
At BCA, Meri serves as Director of Education, where she develops customized clinician and coder training and partners with payers and primary care associations on initiatives such as risk recapture projects, revenue cycle support, and webinar development. Her expertise in ICD-10-CM, chronic care coding, and value-based reimbursement allows her to guide clients in aligning documentation and coding practices with evolving regulatory and payer requirements.
Meri is also a frequent speaker at national conferences and presents at collaborative workshops designed to advance provider and coder education. She is recognized for creating engaging, practical training experiences that bring clarity to complex compliance and reimbursement requirements.

Jennifer Bartlett has greater than 22 years of experience in healthcare, Jennifer Bartlett has built her career across the full spectrum of the revenue cycle, serving as a consultant, auditor, Audit Program Director, and now Chief Operating Officer at BCA. Jennifer holds multiple coding certifications through AAPC and AHIMA. She is recognized for cultivating strong, collaborative teams, including coding and billing—and driving innovative processes that translate into measurable client success.
Jennifer has extensive expertise in documentation quality and coding compliance audits and has led the development of streamlined audit practices that improve both efficiency and accuracy. Partnering with the education team, she champions clinician and coder education for clients, delivering consistent, high-quality results. Riana Johnon, Project Manager, CPC, AAPC EHR/EMR Specialist
Riana joined BCA in July 2018 as an Administrative Assistant with no prior coding experience and has grown into a versatile and highly skilled team member. She has held multiple roles within the organization and currently serves as Project Manager, overseeing all BCA projects while managing client communications and scheduling. Her diverse experience gives her a comprehensive understanding of BCA operations and client needs, making her a trusted leader in process coordination and project management.
