Tough Topics in the FQHC: Behavioral Health Services for Non-prescribers

For years, behavioral health services were not recognized as an integral part of whole-person care. This outdated mindset has shifted. Now, payers and practices have determined a variety of ways in which the behavioral health provider can address both mental health disorders and physical health concerns. In this session, we’ll explore reporting options and documentation requirements for common services. We’ll work to build a resource for coders to document and track payer policy changes regarding appropriate licensure, covered services, and frequency requirements.
