Coders in the Know: All Things Hypertension – January 22, 2025

This course is designed to cover the basics of hypertension and making a highly-specific diagnosis, coding and reporting correct CPT and ICD-10-CM codes for hypertension, complications of hypertension, and causal relationships (chronic kidney disease, hypertensive heart disease etc.). This class also includes coding instruction and guidelines for the  hypertension category in ICD-10-CM, I1A, Other and Resistant Hypertension.
